Occupational Therapist

Education

Worcester State University

A graduate of Worcester State University, Katherine chose to become an occupational therapist because she enjoyed the idea of helping others. “I like helping other people achieve success in their day-to-day functions and facilitating their return to the hobbies and activities they love,” she explains. When treating patients Katherine strives to be as collaborative as possible. “I like to work closely with the patient, using my medical knowledge and therapeutic skills to help them achieve their goals.”

Katherine treats patients with many different injuries and has a particular interest in upper extremity orthopedics. She says she enjoys the variety of her work as an occupational therapist. “We have many different treatments to help patients and no case is the same. I also enjoy the opportunity to work with people of all ages, both adults and children.” When she is not busy with patients, Katherine loves to stay active and be outdoors. She particularly enjoys running, biking, camping, as well as spending time with family and friends.
